We are excited to announce a new Communication Academy for the 2023-24 school year!
The Donovan Group and WASDA, in collaboration with WSPRA, are offering this professional development opportunity for Wisconsin superintendents and communication leaders. The class will cover key components of strong school communication, giving you the tools you need to connect with your community and communicate effectively.
This is a wonderful opportunity to refresh your communication skills and learn new strategies. You may want to consider taking this class as a team with your superintendent and others in your district!
The class includes 9 sessions, of which 6 are virtual and 3 are in-person. More information about the sessions is below. Specific dates/times are available on the WASDA website.
Registration fee includes access to all Academy Sessions as well as all handout materials from presenters. All virtual sessions will be recorded for viewing at a later date if a registrant is unable to participate on the specific date and time. Registration Fee: $345
WASDA is coordinating registration: WASDA website and registration process
WASDA appreciates the important collaboration with WSPRA as a platform to meet the shared needs of our members around school community communication and relationship building.
The opportunity to master fundamental concepts, share practices, and explore innovative strategies in school communication will serve members in both professional associations. Why? Because clear and transparent communication fosters trust, engages parents and caregivers, empowers educators, and ultimately enhances the overall learning experience for our students.
We hope you will join us in this Academy in Communication and encourage attendance of both the superintendent and the district communications leader(s).
